4 months before the wedding....

Now's the time to start thinking of design ideas for your wedding rings. Take your time to work out what styles you like, and what styles you don't like -- this piece is likely to be the one piece of jewellery you wear most often. While you're at it, put some thought into how much you'd be happy to spend on this part of the wedding.

3 months before the wedding...
Find a jeweller

Find yourself a jeweller, and get their help to fine tune your design ideas. They'll be able to give you advice on what is going to suit your style, and your engagement ring. Be sure to find someone you like and trust, because they'll be in charge of creating a treasured piece for you.

4-6 weeks before the wedding...
Order your rings

Be sure to place your order for your wedding rings with plenty of time to spare. This will give you the confidence that your rings will be just right, and ready in plenty of time for your big day.

2 weeks before the wedding...
Collect your wedding rings

Arrange to collect your new wedding rings around 2 weeks before the wedding. Check that the size is right. If in doubt, a little bigger is best -- your hands will swell when wedding day nerves kick in! Also ask your jeweller to clean your engagement ring, so it's sparkly for your wedding photos.
